I get asked this question a lot and while I do enjoy chatting with you folks about music production, I don’t always have time to write a nice detailed response to everyone and thus feel like a bit of a dick.
So here’s a (somewhat) definitive guide to getting started with making…
what is wrong with me
it’s so late why did i make this
This started out as a joke commission in May, for my college friend. He asked me to make a song with him singing, and I asked him for a vocal sample. He doesn’t have a mic, but apparently he had this lying around on his computer.
His vocal riff is based off the chorus to “Believe It or Not” by Joey Scarbury, who happens to share the same first name as him.
Anyway, Joey’s been bugging me to release a full version of this for the whole summer, so just yesterday I finally got around to adding the final touches and releasing this.
oh this posted automatically, huh
For my friend @Parallelis. Check his stuff out, he’s cool.
dunno why I haven’t shared this yet it’s totes cool
I’m so excited for what Wave Racer’s gonna bring to the world of music.
Here’s a sick chip remix my close friend Parallelis made of his own rap from a while back. It’s about ravioli.
So I’m totally friends with some really cool kid in the chip scene.
